So this is Ziggy and his sister Dee Dee.
From the moment they arrived, they loved to play and explore.
They found their food bowls pretty quickly.
And a whole bunch of toys.
What's in here? Oh, I am.
Who's up there? She is.
They definitely seemed inseparable - even exploring the litter tray together.
At first, they were slightly unsure about the new surroundings and slept together under a chair.
Or took a nap in the yoga mat (click the image to zoom in on her little face).
But very soon (within a couple of hours in fact) got brave enough to sleep in the middle of the floor.
Dee Dee was first to try a nice warm lap.
Ziggy likes to get into everything.
I can haz milk?
They both seem to think the scratching post is a climbing frame.
Adorably, they always like to sleep cuddled up together.
There are spells of mad activity.
Followed by crashing out completely.
They love to play-fight and set ambushes for each other.
Followed inevitably by...
On day two, they discovered the stairs.
And a whole new level to explore.
They 'helped out' with the cleaning.
Ziggy even assisted with homework.
Dee Dee wrapped herself around Mummy's arm.
She's going to fit right in here in Essex.
What's better than a kitten in a box?
TWO kittens in a box.
Kittens generally spend at least 20 hours a day sleeping. These two are no exception.
They got ahead of the game with taking the decorations down.
And after all that effort...
Another new discovery. The fiery fire.
The eat, they play, they fight and then they sleep.
We can't quite believe how quickly they've settled in.
And we're going to look after them and give them the happiest home we can.
